 Pour les 5 ans de la bière Breizh Amerika, la Brasserie Lancelot lance dès ce mois de juin un format bouteille réservé aux cavistes de Bretagne. Breizh Amerika est née d’une idée originale entre la brasserie et l’association Breizh Amerika : soutenir la culture bretonne outre-Atlantique avec une IPA unique par sa composition. Initialement proposée à la pression en bar, elle est aujourd’hui disponible en format 33 cl pour les cavistes exclusivement. Avec une production de 60 hectolitres par an, 18 000 bouteilles sont prévues pour 2023. La Breizh Amerika IPA en bouteilleC’est à la Tavarn Ar Roué Morvan de Lorient, qu’a eu lieu le lancement de la bouteille de bière Breizh Amerika, le 2 juin 2023 en présence de Charles Kergaravat, président de l’association Breizh Amerika et de 3 membres de la Brasserie Lancelot : Laurent Guillet, directeur de la Brasserie Lancelot, Marc Vaitilingom, directeur du site de la brasserie et maître brasseur. Forte de son succès, la Breizh Amerika, déjà présente en fût de 20 L dans les pubs bretons depuis 2018, sera en juin également proposée en bouteille de 33 cl chez les cavistes de la région. Avec une production annuelle de 60 hectolitres, la Brasserie Lancelot prévoit 18 000 bouteilles de Breizh Amerika pour l’année 2023. Cette IPA artisanale bio fabriquée à la Brasserie Lancelot associe le meilleur des deux côtés de l’Atlantique. Elle est brassée à partir d’une variété de houblon bio originaire des USA et de malt bio breton. Le houblon est un ingrédient clé, il apporte à la bière une amertume et des arômes caractéristiques. Cette variété spécifique nommée Houblon Centennial permet à cette bière de révéler ses notes florales et fruitée. « La Breizh Amerika est issue d’une rencontre avec un membre de la Brasserie Lancelot dans le plus vieux pub de New-York. L’idée est née de notre aspiration commune à avoir une bière artisanale unique qui réunit les deux côtés de l’Atlantique et par cela, soutenir des projets culturels encourageant la coopération entre les USA et la Bretagne. C’est ainsi que nous lançons cette année, une tournée de concerts en Louisiane et San Francisco avec des musiciens bretons et américains ! » indique Charles Kergaravat.
