Breton startup, Klaxoon, raises 5 million euros to help with North American expansion
Last May, winners of Breizh Amerika Startup Contest took part in a one-week accelerator program in NYC. Three Brittany-based startups (NDMAC, B.Sensory, Klaxoon) spent a week learning about USA markets, US expansion possibilities, and meeting potential investors.
Today, Klaxoon announced that their NYC meetings had helped raised 5 millions euros, led by two North American VC's : White Star Capital (New York), Wind (San Francisco) with participation in France by Arkea Capital and investors : Xavier Niel, Cyril Guislain Karray, and Xavier Gury. Klaxoon plans to hire 50 employees in the coming months to help with their international expansion.
