New York, Ride With Legendary Cyclist Bernard Hinault!
This is the chance to meet a hero of cycling's most classic era. Join Bikes and Life and 5-time Tour de France winner Bernard "The Badger" Hinault for day of incredible cycling activities.
NOTE - Each event is separate and individual. You can attend just one or all - your choice!
NEW YORK - October 11th
8:00 - 9:30 am: Q&A at the Rapha Clubhouse in SoHo. Suggested donation of $20 includes light breakfast and drip coffee.
12:30 - 2:30 pm: VIP lunch at the French Consulate. Spend a few hours in the company of one of France's greatest cyclists. Where better than the French Consulate?
3:30 - 5:30 pm: Join Bernard Hinault on his first ride in New York City! Route still being determined. This will be a casual and social ride - The Badger will not be racing!
6:00 - 8:00 pm: Riders will retire to a champagne reception in the Great Hall of the Cooper Hewitt Museum! Enjoy the company of cyclists from around the city. Secure bike parking will be provided.
8:30 - 10:30 pm: Join Bernard Hinault and the founders of Bikes and Life for an intimate dinner at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, further enjoying the company of one of the worlds greatest cyclists.
Team/Corportate Sponsorship: If your cycling team or club or company would like to sponsor this event, please contact us! Comes a table of 8 at our VIP dinner, a signed group photo with Bernard Hinault for each of 8 members, and registration for the ride in Central Park. A great treat for your members!
Rapha ($20 suggested donation): Donations will be accepted in cash when entering Rapha Clubhouse.
General ($45): Includes the group ride ending at Cooper Hewitt, and a T-Shirt.
VIP 1, Lunch + Ride ($199): Includes a VIP Lunch at the French Consulate, the group ride ending at Cooper Hewitt, and a T-Shirt.
VIP 2, Ride + Dinner ($199): Includes a VIP Dinner at the Del Friscos Steakhouse, the group ride ending at Cooper Hewitt, and a T-Shirt. If you can't make the ride, that's not a problem.
VIP 3, Lunch + Ride + Dinner ($379): Includes VIP Lunch at the French Consulate, VIP Dinner at Del Friscos Steakhouse, the group ride ending at Cooper Hewitt, and a T-Shirt.
Champagne Reception Details:
Enter via the Cooper Hewitt Garden Gate on 90th st.
Secure bike parking will be provided.
Bike shoes must be removed due to the nature of this historic venue. Slippers will be provided!
