Hundreds of French expats and New Yorkers attended a rally for solidarity with France in Washington Square Park, NYC on Saturday to support the French after several brutal attacks by terrorists. The crowd sang France's national anthem, and also held up pens, pencils and anything to symbolize a writing tool, and the fight for freedom of speech against terrorism. Similar rallies will be held across the USA this weekend, including Washington DC, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Portland, LA, Las Vegas, Chicago, Santa Barbara, Boston, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Atlanta.
